For the production of wood pellets, heat is needed to dry the wood chips - before they are pressed into high-quality pellets in the matrix presses. To that end, we operate our own biomass heating plants at our locations in Löbau and Oranienbaum, which supply our production with heat.

- o 3.15 mm – 200 mm: > 60 %
- o < 3.15 mm: max. 5%
- o > 250 mm: < 10%
- Maximum length: 400 mm
- Water content class: up to W 50 (40-50%, freshly harvested)
- Ash content: up to 5%
- Ash softening point: greater than 1000 °C
- Heating value: 1.8 to 3.2 kWh/kg
- Quality: Wood chips made from solid wood/crown material free of needle and leaf residues
- Free of iron, sand, and stones, no radioactivity
For technical reasons, we cannot accept small quantities from private individuals. The minimum quantity or pickup quantity is a full truckload.
